Willhelm Reich, an emminent psychologist who broke with the traditions and community of Freud, founded the theory of Orgone. Through many years of scientific experimentation he found that Orgone, a life energy, often became blocked in the human body, hindering well-being and sexual potency. As a therapy he invented devices which could concentrate this energy and break through the so-called "armouring." Considered a crackpot, the FDA placed an injuction on the use of one such device, called the Orgone Box. Reich ignored the injunction and was jailed. There he died awaiting his trial.
